Terroir in a glass - very site-specific, sophisticated and unique, the Surveyor Thomson Pinot Noir is their flagship wine. They hold its release date back to provide us with a perfectly balanced Pinot Noir hence the older 2016 vintage. This wine has real age, texture and structure 

"From Domaine-Thomson, at Lowburn, the classy 2016 vintage (5*) is a single-vineyard red, matured for 10 months in French oak barrels (33 % new). Ruby hued, it has a finely perfumed, savoury bouquet. Mouthfilling and supple, it is notably harmonious, with cherry, spice and nut flavours, showing excellent complexity, and a long finish. Already drinking well, it's still youthful and well worth cellaring to 2021+. Certified organic."
