The nose is quite smoky, there are some lovely maritime notes, and the peat is quite evident though a little “spirity”. The palate is quite full and well-balanced. There are notes of sultanas, mixed peels, peat smoke and kelp. The oak develops with marked aridity, continuing into the finish with more smoke. Absolutely delicious, and the price will surprise you
